This morning's dream had another old friend from school Michelle getting engaged and showing me her engagement ring. It didn't have any gems, it was just a thick band with some flowers engraved on it. I think it was white gold or platinum. It looked nice and special. I think it also had initials on it.

There was also a bit where I was in a clothes shop and some kid boy's parents bought him a coat the same colour as mine.

I also remember trying to find some toilets in a maze of a place and there were lots of German-speaking people there even though I know it wasn't Germany.

This morning I woke up startled by the alarm. I knew I'd been having a good dream though, so I tried to think back.

Initially all I could remember was a trip to the hairdressers in which I'd been trying to get my hair restyled. They ended up cutting in lots of layers and the shortest layers were much shorter at the back than at the front and I was NOT happy about the length of the layers at all. I wanted them longer.

A while later I remembered that at some point during the dream I'd been wearing my black cardigan with the elbow-length sleeves and as it's autumn I got a bit nippy and as I thought "this cardy could do with longer sleeves", the sleeves grew to my wrists and I got warmer.

There was also a big banquet towards the end of the dream. There was a large, long table made of old, dark wood. Possibly and old, stained oak. Not sure what the food was or who was there. The table was in a large room/hall with brick walls. Red bricks. After the banquet everybody left and I was walking towards the closed door to join the others when I considered that I can sometimes float up into the air in my dreams, but never really land. So I jumped and hovered for a second and came down a few feet in front of the door, which was also old and wooden - it had a top in the shape of a pointed arch, rather than the flat type of doors in modern buildings. After that successful flying moment I decided to try a bit of a longer go and I turned and floated up towards the ceiling and moved around the room and came back towards the door. But I couldn't seem to get down of my own accord until I caught hold of one of the horizontal beams in the roofspace and pushed myself down. I slowly descended towards the floor and once I made contact again I decided to not bother flying again in case people noticed and I couldn't get down.

I remember meeting my old friend Emma (who I know from school) and we walked through some woods along a trail looking for a bicycle that Emma had lost. She told me that she'd once driven around a large lake/sea in mainland Europe and during the trip and driven around parts of France and had been to Luxembourg also.

Just before that I think I'd met Philip (also from school) and we had talked about Rev Jolly. I can't remember now though what was said.

There was also something to do with me visiting my Gran and getting in a 4x4 and a backpack and my Dad, but I can't remember in what order or any more details.

Two for the price of one!

I had two dreams this morning.

Dream 1:
I was staying with Chris, not in Leeds but at his parents house in Liverpool instead. Don't ask me why I was there - I have no idea. I just remember being tired and saying I'd have a nap for an hour before we went out for dinner. It was getting dark, so I assume it was around this time of year. I set the alarm on my iphone and drifted off to sleep. The alarm went off and I woke up and looked at the clock on the wall. The times didn't match. My phone was saying it was about 7 and the clock said around 9. I looked out the window and noticed the brillian sunshine. I got up and spoke to Chris' mum and discovered I'd slept right through. It was around 9 in the morning. Somehow the iphone had screwed up the time.

Dream 2:
I was waiting at an airport with my Mum. She was wearing an American sweater. It said Washington on the front and had a number on it. I can't remember the number. The jumper was dark blue, the writing might have been green and white. She'd had it as a gift from a colleague. There was a stranger (a guy) waiting at the same place as us, but for people off a different flight so it turned out. There was a long wait because there was some sort of disturbance in passport control or customs or baggage collection or something. Eventually Aunty Chris and cousin Dean came through and we went outside for the car.

Second sickness dream

Strange dreams again this morning.

I'm not sure how it started but something or someone or a group of things/people were after me. Well perhaps not just me, but I'm not sure that anyone else really listened or paid attention to me. I remember running through buildings trying to get away from whatever it was or hide. Then I found myself in Gran's bedroom with no escape so I thought I'd hide under the bed, only I couldn't get completely under.

The door opened and I was still only half under the bed. By this time I was trying to get out so that I could fight/run. But I was trapped. My aunt came through the door. Mum's twin sister. She asked me why I was trying to hide. I couldn't really explain it.

Then I woke up.

Crazy illness dreams

I often have crazy dreams when I'm ill and right now I have a bad cold, hence the really vivid dream this morning which I can't get out of my head.

I dreamt I'd been on a coach journey somewhere. I don't know where I was, but I'd just got off the bus and was walking towards the back of it and to my right was a young man around my age walking next to me. He slipped his hand into mine. He was wearing grey gloves. They were lovely and soft and warm and his grip was firm and strong without hurting me. I remember looking down at our hands then looking up at his face. I can't remember what he looked like, I just remember seeing love and passion in his eyes and a nice smile. I smiled back at him and we carried on walking to find somewhere to sit down and talk.

There was a field with a few trees in and people were putting up tents. We went over to sit under one of the trees by a tent. Then we realised we were in the way of people getting in and out of the tent so we got up and walked on and ended up getting trapped, encircled by tents. The only way out was to climb over the tents. He went first and I started after him, but they wouldn't support my weight and it was very wobbly.

The strongest image/memory I have from all of that is the gloves and holding hands. I felt like he really cared for me. It was nice. I hope that bit comes true.
